Noise Level and Food and Drink Policies:

We realize that there are a variety of environments in which people prefer to work at different times. To accommodate this, there are designated computing areas for different uses:

  • Food and Drink
The Computer Lounge on the 1st floor and the E-Lounge on the 2nd floor allow you to have food and drink while you are using the computers. All other areas do not allow food and drink at any time. Anyone found with food and drink will be asked to move to an approved area immediately.
Please help us keep the computer equipment safe from spills and in operable use for everyone by respecting these restrictions!
  • Noise Levels and Cell Phone Use
The 24 Hour Computer Lounge is designated as a group study area with talking allowed.
All other computing areas are unrestricted, but we ask that you limit conversation and phone use to low levels and short conversations, with the understanding that others near you are working and may be distracted.
