2008 ASPH/ CDC Fellowship and Internship Programs

ASPH is pleased to report that CDC has provided funds to support 25 new and exciting fellowship opportunities, and 7 new summer internship opportunities at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry in 2008.  ASPH will be responsible for coordinating these training opportunities. 

Students receiving their MPH or Doctorate degree prior to the beginning of the fellowship (no later than June 2008) and early career professionals with MPH or Doctorate degrees may apply for the fellowship program. Any full- or part-time student, enrolled in a master's or doctoral level degree program is permitted to apply for the internships offered. Applicants must be affiliated with an ASPH accredited school of public health.  Applicants must also be U.S. Citizens or hold a visa permitting permanent residence in the U.S. Applicants may apply for up to three different fellowships and/or internships.
