AMSA’S fifth annual HEART elective. This is a student-run, student-designed, student-focused, fully-accredited four week, medical school elective.
HEART was developed to continue the process of addressing the lack of attention given to activism, student/physician well-being, integrative and traditional medicine during medical school. HEART, accredited by the University o f Florida College of Medicine Internal Medicine Department accepts twenty-five 4th year medical students each year into the program.
