Does spinal cord stimulation work for chronic unstable angina?

Numerous prospective, randomized control studies have shown have shown that spinal cord stimulation has anti-ischemic effects, including exercise testing, EKG monitoring, and coronary blood flow measurements. Studies have also shown a reduction in the number of anginal attacks, and also an improvement in exercise tolerance. Patients have, most importantly, described a better quality of life with spinal cord stimulation.
